Salary: $116,700 – $145,900

What you will do

• Develop a digital engagement platform for labs and test offerings.
• Lead a team of 3+ engineers, setting technical direction, project scope, and deliverables.
• Enhance patient and provider portals for ordering, consultations, and billing.
• Build and maintain a unifying API Gateway for internal and external users.
• Drive the adoption and migration toward a microservices architecture.
• Establish engineering quality standards and introduce new tooling and practices for the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience building backend applications.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, Redis, DynamoDB).
• Experience with AWS (EKS and Serverless) and cloud-native technologies.
• Demonstrated skill in REST and GraphQL API design.
• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, Kinesis, or RabbitMQ.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or Green Card holder living full time in the USA.
