What you will do

• Lead strategic planning and execution of internal meetings, sales events, recognition programs, and healthcare trade shows.
• Manage a team of event planners to ensure project management excellence and high-quality attendee experiences.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to align events with business priorities and commercial objectives.
• Oversee vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and event budgets to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Manage the convention and tradeshow portfolio, including exhibit strategy, lead capture, and CRM integration.
• Ensure strict compliance with healthcare industry regulations (AdvaMed, Sunshine Act) and data privacy requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in corporate or commercial event management.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale meetings, sales incentive events, or association congresses.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to travel up to 40% domestic and international.

Nice to have

• Experience in MedTech, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
• Proficiency with Cvent, Concur, or similar event management technologies.
• Professional certifications such as CMP, CMM, or HMCC.
• Master's degree (MBA) or advanced coursework in marketing, hospitality, or healthcare management.
