What you will do

• Collaborate with data analysts and product managers to guide projects from concept through technical design and implementation.
• Develop and deploy clean, efficient, and production-ready code for the Search Platform Team.
• Improve search and data access experience and performance for millions of users globally.
• Perform rapid iteration and daily deployment of changes through quick experiments.
• Ensure reliable production support for mission-critical applications and address high-priority incidents.
• Participate in design conversations and whiteboard sessions to engineer optimal solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Boston, US or Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid model)
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java or a similar language.
• Experience with concurrency, multi-threading, web applications, and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in optimizing application performance via efficient caching strategies.
• Data-driven approach to decision-making.
