[Pipeline] Staff+ Software Engineer, Developer Acceleration (AI)

Salary: $405,000 - $485,000 USD

What you will do

• Define the technical strategy and roadmap for agentic productivity at the frontier of AI.
• Build and ship the agent runtime platform and associated tooling for provisioning and running agents.
• Develop agent harnesses and experiment with context management strategies to improve agent correctness.
• Write evaluations and benchmarks to measure and optimize agent behaviors.
• Own infrastructure scalability and reliability while establishing operational excellence practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to increase the velocity and quality of research and engineering.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• 3+ years of experience leading large-scale, complex projects or teams as an engineer or tech lead.
• Significant experience with AI agents, specifically those performing technical or knowledge work.
• Proven track record of building scalable platforms.
• Must be based in or be able to work from San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA to meet the 25% office presence requirement.
• Excellent communication skills for supporting internal partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with container or VM orchestration at scale.
• Background in developer productivity, including CI/CD and build systems.
• Experience building widely adopted CLI tools and services.
• Experience working directly with AI researchers and engineers.
