What you will do

• Lead architecture, circuit design, and physical implementation of memory compilers.
• Define bitcell selection, peripheral architecture, and redundancy strategies to hit aggressive PPA targets.
• Mentor and grow a team of memory design engineers across circuit design, layout, and characterization.
• Serve as the senior technical lead in presales engagements and customer technical workshops.
• Own PPA analysis and competitive benchmarking against foundry and third-party memory IP.
• Drive silicon validation efforts including test chip development and reporting.

Requirements

• 10+ years of embedded memory design experience with production tapeouts.
• Deep expertise in bitcell-level circuit design, memory peripherals, and assist circuit techniques.
• Hands-on experience with FinFET and advanced sub-7nm nodes.
• Proven team leadership experience managing a team of 6+ designers.
• Strong command of SPICE simulation, statistical analysis, and reliability modeling.
• Demonstrated success in customer-facing technical roles and PPA negotiation.

Nice to have

• Experience leading memory compiler programs at an IP vendor or foundry.
• Background in low-power memory design for mobile, IoT, or AI/ML accelerators.
• Experience with multi-port memory architectures and specialty memories like TCAM.
