What you will do

• Expand and maintain Linux BSP with focus on video pipeline architecture.
• Integrate and configure CMOS and IR camera sensors via MIPI/CSI interfaces.
• Configure and debug drivers in Linux kernel and ecosystems like NXP, NVIDIA, Qualcomm.
• Participate in hardware design reviews, validate designs through schematic review and physical debugging.
• Perform reverse engineering for robust system integration when documentation is incomplete.
• Manage V4L2 and GStreamer frameworks for continuous video streams.
• Collaborate with optical, hardware, and computer vision engineers.

Requirements

• 5–10 years senior-level experience in embedded systems focused on camera video acquisition for Linux
• Proven work with chipsets from NVIDIA, NXP, or Qualcomm
• Advanced debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers for memory corruption or latency
• Practical experience with V4L2 and GStreamer for video pipelines
• Experience connecting and synchronizing multiple camera modules on a single chip
• Methodical approach to deep-system debugging and reverse engineering
• Collaborative mindset to translate hardware constraints into software requirements
