Compensation: $133,500 – $190,050 + Equity

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end supplier qualification and onboarding process, including audits and capability reviews.
• Develop and refine quality program documentation, including the Supplier Quality Manual and quality clauses.
• Create and execute supplier capability improvement plans to close process gaps before production.
• Define procurement assurance strategies and acceptance frameworks for critical nuclear components.
• Manage supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and structured intervention plans.
• Process and disposition supplier quality issues, including non-conformances and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Materials Science, or related technical field.
• 3–6 years of experience in supplier quality or reliability engineering within a regulated industry (nuclear, aerospace, defense, or medical device).
• Demonstrated ability to independently process supplier quality transactions and own quality program documentation.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent quality management systems.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA.
• Must be eligible to work with technology subject to U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

• Experience in the nuclear industry or familiarity with NQA-1, 10 CFR 50, or ASME BPVC standards.
• Manufacturing process depth in machining, welding, casting, or precision fabrication.
• Certified NQA-1 Lead Auditor or Qualified Inspector status.
• Experience building processes from the ground up in an early-stage company.
