What you will do

• Architect, implement, and optimize control systems using modern C++17/20.
• Design high-precision trajectory-tracking solutions for production deployment.
• Identify and refine dynamic vehicle parameters using real-world sensor data.
• Profile and optimize algorithms to meet strict real-time performance constraints.
• Provide technical direction and code reviews for a team of 2-3 control engineers.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between Controls, Planning, and Hardware teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Expertise in modern C++ and software design patterns.
• Direct experience with Optimization, MPC, and system dynamics.
• Proven ability to guide the technical direction of a small team.
• Strong background in data analysis and statistical methods applied to vehicle data.

• Prior experience leading a small engineering team or workstream.
• Knowledge of digital signal processing techniques.
