What you will do
- Develop algorithms ensuring car behavior is safe, smooth, and predictable in complex social situations like merging and navigating narrow roads.
- Process noisy, uncertain, and incomplete information to make real-time driving decisions.
- Frame open-ended real-world challenges into well-defined engineering problems.
- Develop and scale tools, algorithms, and evaluation mechanisms using Google-sized data pipelines.
- Optimize and refine software for real-time execution on vehicle hardware.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, ML, Robotics, or a similar technical field.
- 5+ years of general software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in C++ with a focus on writing efficient code.
- Experience collaborating across different multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to have
- MS in Computer Science, ML, or Robotics.
- Experience solving motion planning or related robotics problems.
- Experience solving or evaluating ML-based systems.
