What you will do

• Own the security strategy, roadmap, and risk posture across the entire organization.
• Define and implement security policies, standards, and secure SDLC practices in collaboration with Engineering and DevOps.
• Manage compliance programs including financial regulations, GDPR, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
• Lead security audits and serve as the primary point of contact for regulators.
• Execute end-to-end incident response and remediation efforts.
• Communicate security risks and strategy to leadership in clear business terms.

Requirements

• Must be based in Europe
• 5+ years of experience in information security with proven program ownership.
• Background in regulated finance such as fintech, banking, or payments.
• Strong technical proficiency in cloud, application, and data security.
• Hands-on experience managing PCI DSS and ISO 27001 audits.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical engineering teams and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in crypto or Web3 environments.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
