Senior Data Engineer (Databricks)

What you will do

• Deliver complex data platform components and migration solutions independently.
• Define RDS data sources, develop ETL jobs, and manage data warehouses and lakehouse platforms.
• Build and maintain Databricks-based environments, including notebooks, job orchestration, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues across data platforms.
• Contribute to solution design, engineering standards, documentation, and implementation reviews.
• Communicate technical topics with peers, stakeholders, and customers through agile delivery processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relational database, big data, or data engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience delivering AWS-based implementations.
• 1+ year of hands-on Databricks experience or experience with a comparable managed lakehouse platform.
• Strong experience with scalable cloud-native data platforms, data lakes, lakehouses, distributed processing, streaming or event-driven ingestion, and Python engineering.
• Expertise in relational databases, schema design, query optimization, large-scale migrations, modernization, HA/DR, security, cost optimization, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD.
• Upper-Intermediate English, minimum B2, is required.
