What you will do
- Lead the strategy, architecture, and operation of data and AI platforms.
- Identify and resolve company-wide technical challenges using advanced data solutions.
- Provide visionary technical direction and foster a culture of craftsmanship and innovation.
- Mentor and nurture the professional development of data platform engineers and scientists.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to drive tangible business outcomes and influence tech roadmaps.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Data Platform or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience leading company-wide initiatives and influencing technical roadmaps.
- Demonstrated ability to balance execution velocity with scalable design and research.
- Experience providing technical leadership on ETL frameworks, metrics stores, and data security.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining reliable multi-geographical data pipelines at scale.
- Familiarity with orchestration frameworks such as Airflow or DBT.
Nice to have
- Hands-on design experience with modern Lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with GCP, Databricks, BigQuery, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Spark.
- Ability to rapidly evaluate new technologies and conduct proof of concepts.
