What you will do

• Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure following NIH security baselines.
• Deploy OS and application patches to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
• Manage Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Perform system hardening using Microsoft and NIST security best practices.
• Support vulnerability scanning activities and validate remediation of security findings.
• Assist with disaster recovery, backup validation, and system recovery procedures.

Requirements

• Must hold or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows Server environments in a federal or regulated setting.
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
• Experience with WSUS/SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Defender, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of FISMA, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, and enterprise vulnerability management.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
• Security+ or CISSP certification.
