What you will do
- Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise Linux distributions including RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, and Oracle Linux.
- Design and implement secure Linux server architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Deploy and manage enterprise authentication services such as LDAP, Active Directory integration, and MFA.
- Perform OS hardening using DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, and NIST guidance.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Ansible to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Security Architects, Network Engineers, and ISSOs to support infrastructure security.
Requirements
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Linux environments.
- Experience with infrastructure engineering, automation, virtualization, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of enterprise patching, software lifecycle management, and kernel updates.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting federal or highly regulated environments.
- Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, CompTIA Security+, Linux+, GCUX, or CISSP.
