What you will do

• Lead daily security operations, including monitoring, detection, and incident response.
• Develop and maintain SIEM rules, alerts, and playbooks for proactive threat detection.
• Automate repetitive SecOps processes to improve efficiency and reduce alert noise.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD and cloud workflows.
• Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability management to identify and mitigate risks.
• Partner with compliance teams to support audits and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Security Operations.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms and cloud security controls (AWS/GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash).
• Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, EDR, and security frameworks like NIST or MITRE ATT&CK.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration.
