What you will do
- Process user access requests for systems such as PowerSchool and Salesforce, creating or modifying accounts and assigning role-based permissions.
- Manage access-related incidents and service requests in ticketing systems, updating tickets with progress, comments, and resolution details.
- Support onboarding and offboarding by ensuring new hires and contractors receive or have access removed/adjusted based on lifecycle dates and renewals.
- Troubleshoot access issues (e.g., login failures or missing permissions) and escalate complex provisioning problems when needed.
- Coordinate with IT and business teams to fulfill access needs and identify gaps in provisioning workflows or ticket routing.
- Document access changes and temporary workarounds to support audit tracking and maintain accurate provisioning records.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of IT Service Desk operations.
- Familiarity with account provisioning concepts (user accounts, permissions, access control).
- Familiarity with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and meeting response/resolution timelines.
- Ability to follow structured processes and workflows.
- Strong attention to detail when handling access requests.
- Written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
Nice to have
- Bachelorβs degree in a technology-related field.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow or similar).
- Experience supporting enterprise systems: PowerSchool, Salesforce, and email/Office platforms.
- Exposure to identity and access management (IAM) or ITOPS access provisioning environments.
