What you will do

• Prepare and reconcile critical accounting data for group entities.
• Standardize, improve, and centralize accounting processes across global operations.
• Identify and implement process optimization and automation opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive accounting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Manage and resolve accounting service desk requests efficiently.
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure seamless month-end and year-end closing.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a shared service or financial control environment.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, GL code reconciliations, and audit preparation.
• Familiarity with month-end closing (MEC) processes.
• Strong analytical skills and impeccable attention to detail.
• Must be based in Poland, Portugal, or Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with process optimization and automation tools.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits.
• Problem-solving mindset and drive to improve workflows.
