What you will do

• Manage the monthly accounting close process and bookkeeping for TechCo entities.
• Oversee month-on-month movements in the general ledger.
• Collaborate with the global Tax team on VAT and CIT filings.
• Manage local audits and taxation requirements.
• Lead automation projects to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related matters.

Requirements

• Fluency in English required
• 6+ years of experience in a related position (4+ if a qualified accountant).
• Experience as an external auditor with financial services exposure or as a financial controller in a large organization.
• Knowledge of European direct and indirect tax regulations.
• Solid understanding of IFRS standards.
• Must be based in the UK

Nice to have

• Accounting qualification.
• Experience in a Big 4 firm or financial control within banking.
• Ability to use SQL for analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with NetSuite.
