TL;DR
Staff Solution Engineer (AI Governance): Enable and co-sell solutions across Japan through partner enablement, deep technical discovery, and structured PoCs with an accent on AI governance, secure software supply chain, and container/DevSecOps security. Focus on translating ’s AI security and governance capabilities into executive-ready value narratives while building community presence and scaling Japanese-language technical assets.

What you will do
- Enable and co-sell with ’s channel partner SE team across Japan, including joint workshops and technical enablement sessions.
- Support partner-led opportunities with architectural depth, PoC support, and competitive differentiation.
- Lead deep technical discovery at strategic accounts across Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, and AI teams.
- Design and execute structured PoCs/PoVs with clear success criteria and executive-ready value summaries.
- Position and demonstrate ’s AI portfolio (MCP Gateway, AI Governance, Hardened Images, Sandbox) and guide customers on AI governance controls across SDLC.
- Build Japanese developer/DevSecOps community presence via speaking and Japanese-language technical content.
Requirements
- Japanese: Native or business-level Japanese required
- Working proficiency in English; ability to deliver technical presentations and produce written content fluently in Japanese.
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solution Architect, or Developer Advocate in a technical sales or community-facing role.
- Familiarity with AI security, AI governance frameworks, or secure software supply chain practices (agentic AI development workflows is a plus).
- Solid understanding of containers, DevOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern application architectures.
- Experience with partner/channel selling motions and running partner enablement programs; willingness to travel domestically within Japan.
Nice to have
- Experience with and container ecosystems or adjacent technologies.
- Public speaking, developer advocacy, conference presenting, or technical content creation experience.
- Familiarity with agentic AI development, MCP tooling, or AI governance frameworks.
- Experience running competitive PoCs/PoVs with clearly defined success and exit criteria.
- Understanding of the Japanese enterprise technology landscape and channel dynamics.
