Salary: $90,000 – $132,000 annually

What you will do

• Set the strategic design for web-based applications, ranging from new designs to subtle refreshes.
• Establish and implement research methodologies to drive informed design decisions.
• Collaborate with clients to discover pain points, document user workflows, and collect feature requirements.
• Partner with software development teams to align on product roadmaps and refine user interfaces based on feedback.
• Facilitate design critiques and participate in planning, retrospectives, and feature demos.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and an active/current TS/SCI security clearance are mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional UX/UI experience.
• Strong and diverse design portfolio.
• Proficiency with Figma and FigJam.
• Applied knowledge of Design Thinking principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD) approaches.
• Experience in web-based product design.
• Background in Graphic Design, Identity, Logo, or Branding.
• Experience mentoring junior staff or interns.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
