Salary: $145,000–$170,000

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end development, maintenance, and optimization of data ingestion pipelines from operational databases and third-party tools.
• Architect efficient ingestion patterns to handle high-volume, multi-source data streams and evolving schemas.
• Transform raw data into production-ready schemas using dbt, SQL, and Jinja code.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks to ensure platform reliability and data freshness.
• Build internal data applications and libraries to enable decentralized self-service analytics and ML work.

Requirements

• Proven production experience scaling ingestion pipelines using APIs, CDC, and orchestrators.
• Advanced proficiency in dbt, including custom Jinja macros and production deployments.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Proficiency in Python for building operational applications and custom pipeline tooling.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and alerting infrastructure.
• Must be based in one of the eligible US states: CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NJ, NV, NY, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WA.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating infrastructure for A/B testing and statistical computation.
• Background supporting ML pipelines, feature stores, or observability tools.
• Production experience configuring semantic views or unified metrics layers.
