TL;DR
Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Web3): Building and operating L1 and node fleet infrastructure, RPC and indexing layers, product backends, and developer-facing services with an accent on reliability engineering, automation, observability, and safe delivery. Focus on designing SLOs and error budgets, operating distributed blockchain systems across regions, leading incident response, and leveraging AI for development and operations.
Location: Remote; candidates should preferably be based in Europe or Asia

A Web3 product company building a hyperspeed L1 blockchain with native AI inference and related developer infrastructure.
What you will do
- Build and operate backend services for the L1, node fleet, validators, RPC, indexing, product backends, and developer-facing systems.
- Define SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and observability using metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
- Create repeatable, self-service infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and standardized deployment paths.
- Own progressive delivery, canary releases, safe migrations, rollbacks, and multi-region operations.
- Lead incident response, on-call rotations, blameless postmortems, and ongoing platform hardening.
- Partner with product and protocol teams to design and operate production-ready services.
Requirements
- Strong experience operating production infrastructure at scale on cloud and/or bare-metal environments, with deep Linux fundamentals.
- Experience with Terraform or Pulumi, configuration management, Docker, and Kubernetes in production.
- Strong programming skills in Go and/or TypeScript for automation and internal tooling.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent observability stacks.
- Experience operating distributed systems, including capacity planning, performance tuning, and incident response.
- Genuine interest in crypto and on-chain systems; the role is remote with a preference for candidates based in Europe or Asia.
Nice to have
- Experience operating blockchain node infrastructure, including validators, RPC, or archive nodes for an L1/L2.
- Experience with high-performance networking, low-latency systems, or load balancing at scale.
- Experience with multi-region and geo-distributed deployments, failover strategies, security, HSMs, secrets management, or hardening.
- Experience with EVM tooling and the wider Web3 infrastructure ecosystem.
