Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Web3)

TL;DR

Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Web3): Building and running key backend services, including L1 nodes, RPC, and indexing layers with an accent on reliability, observability, and automation. Focus on implementing infrastructure-as-code, designing safe rollout strategies, and scaling distributed systems for a hyperspeed L1 blockchain.

What you will do

• Define and maintain SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets with full observability (metrics, logs, traces, and alerts).
• Build repeatable, self-service infrastructure using IaC (Terraform/Pulumi) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage end-to-end rollouts, including progressive delivery, canaries, and safe migrations.
• Operate and tune hirify.global's nodes, validators, RPC, and indexing layers for performance and cost efficiency.
• Lead incident response and on-call rotations, performing blameless postmortems to harden the platform.
• Collaborate with product and protocol teams to design and operate production-ready services.

Requirements

• Strong experience operating production infrastructure at scale (cloud and/or bare metal) with deep Linux fundamentals.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform or Pulumi and configuration management.
• Experience running Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Go and/or TypeScript for building automation and internal tooling.
• Experience with observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Proven ability to operate distributed systems, including capacity planning and performance tuning.

Nice to have

• Experience operating blockchain node infrastructure (validators, RPC, archive nodes) for L1/L2.
• Knowledge of high-performance networking, low-latency systems, or scale load balancing.
• Experience with multi-region geo-distributed deployments and failover strategies.
• Expertise in security and key management (HSMs, secrets management).
• Familiarity with EVM tooling and the broader Web3 infrastructure ecosystem.
