What you will do

• Design and prototype UAV platforms and complex subsystems from scratch.
• Manage system-level constraints, including thermal management, mass budget, and environmental sealing (IP ratings).
• Collaborate with Electrical and Software R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of sensors and payloads.
• Conduct stress and failure analysis and develop validation tools for operation in extreme environments.
• Oversee manufacturing processes with suppliers, specifically plastic injection moulding and precision machining.
• Maintain professional 2D/3D documentation and technical specifications in Confluence.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing mechanical systems for UAVs, robotics, or defense applications.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of high-precision machining and plastic injection moulding processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Morocco

Nice to have

• Experience with structural and thermal analysis tools (FEA).
