What you will do
- Lead a wide portfolio of security projects, managing multiple engagements concurrently.
- Design and implement security solutions to protect the business against sophisticated cyber threats.
- Collaborate with technology teams, underwriters, and senior stakeholders to resolve complex security problems.
- Translate business needs into pragmatic and effective security requirements and solutions.
- Provide guidance and act as an escalation point for junior team members across technology and data peers.
- Manage and report the aggregate view of risk across a project portfolio to key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in security architecture across cloud environments, primarily Azure and GCP, with some AWS.
- Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks such as FCA, Lloyd's, and NYDFS.
- Ability to communicate security risks and solutions to diverse audiences, including the board and regulators.
- Experience embedding pragmatic security solutions into large-scale business transformations.
- Hands-on experience with scripting or coding to support an automation-first mindset.
- Understanding of the security implications for large-scale data science and AI workloads.
