TL;DR

React Engineer (Fintech): Building and optimizing user journeys for a high-growth consumer credit platform with an accent on cross-platform mobile and web development. Focus on delivering new features, improving conversion rates, and maintaining a scalable codebase using React Native and NextJS.

Location: Must be based in London, UK (Hybrid role with office attendance required Tuesday-Thursday).

What you will do

  • Develop and refine user-facing features for the US Cards product.
  • Optimize conversion rates through experimentation and fast iteration.
  • Maintain and refactor existing codebases to improve performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into technical tasks.
  • Leverage AI tooling to accelerate feature delivery and maintain high code quality.

Requirements

  • Must be based in London and able to work from the office Tuesday-Thursday.
  • Strong commercial experience with React Native and React/NextJS.
  • Solid understanding of TypeScript.
  • Experience with automated testing and the testing pyramid.
  • English: B2 level required for technical discussions.
  • Product-oriented mindset with experience in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • Production experience with GraphQL.
  • Background in mobile performance debugging.
  • Experience with staged rollouts and multivariate testing.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and UI/UX design principles.
