Fullstack Developer (Insurance)

Fullstack Developer (React/Node/Nest): Developing and maintaining digital solutions for business-critical insurance processes with an accent on TypeScript and distributed architectures. What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, React 18, and NestJS 11.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces and scalable Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) components.
• Integrate applications with multiple internal and external services within the German business ecosystem.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms based on SAML and token management with Redis.
• Develop automated tests using Jest and support CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions.
• Support production environments and maintain containerized applications deployed via Docker and AWS ECS.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and NestJS.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with distributed systems.
• Knowledge of Jest, Docker, and CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions).
• Experience in the insurance or broader financial services sector.
• Exposure to German-language applications, systems, or collaboration with German stakeholders.
