What you will do

• Execute assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) procedures while supervising technicians and coordinating with QA.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve quality and manufacturability using DFMA concepts.
• Manage non-conformance resolution processes and maintain comprehensive lessons-learned logs.
• Support systems engineering by managing requirements and tracking spacecraft configuration during build and testing.
• Develop technical testing documentation, including plans, specifications, and verification reports.
• Conduct 3D design studies and mathematical modeling to determine the feasibility of proposed designs.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Japanese working visa or be able to relocate to Japan.
• 2+ years of experience with spacecraft integration, verification campaigns, and environmental testing.
• Knowledge of DFMA concepts and proven experience applying them.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Working proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N4 or equivalent).
• Knowledge of ERP software and database management.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Japanese (JLPT N2 certificate or equivalent).
• Experience with Atlassian Productivity Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Certification in Forklift or Overhead Crane operation.
