What you will do

• Lead the creation of financial performance dashboards and streamline the audit process.
• Drive automation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and finance control frameworks.
• Collaborate with external auditors and analytics experts to ensure seamless data exchange and compliance.
• Partner with Product Designers and Software Engineers to improve the usability and functionality of the in-house accounting platform.
• Gather functional requirements to build new finance tools and manage applications for month-end close and variance analysis.
• Oversee core finance systems, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, finance, or economics (minimum 2:1 grade).
• 3+ years of project or change management experience in Big 4 or similar fast-paced financial services.
• Expertise in data analytics, assurance, or process improvement.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience handling large, high-volume transaction datasets.
• Must be based in the UK.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent) with IFRS experience in complex environments.
• Experience in target operating model design and finance optimization initiatives.
• Track record of managing system development lifecycles (SDLC).
• Prince II or Lean Six Sigma qualifications.
• Experience with Python.
