Principal Solutions Architect (APAC)

TL;DR

Principal Solutions Architect (APAC): Acting as a trusted advisor to strategic enterprise customers, you will design and facilitate complex digital transformation strategies with an accent on Zero Trust, cloud-to-edge migration, and AI workload security. Focus on influencing executive-level technology agendas and elevating the architectural capability of the broader APAC Solutions Engineering team.

Location: Must be based in Sydney, Australia (Hybrid role).

What you will do

• Own long-term executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs across strategic APAC accounts.
• Design and facilitate executive vision-setting workshops to produce multi-year roadmaps and reference architectures.
• Translate industry trends like Zero Trust, digital sovereignty, and AI infrastructure into actionable strategies.
• Guide clients through the full engagement lifecycle from strategic discovery to value realization.
• Develop reusable workshop frameworks and reference architectures to elevate the APAC Solutions Engineering team.
• Represent the company externally at industry events and executive roundtables.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in technical presales, enterprise architecture, or IT leadership.
• Demonstrated experience leading executive-level workshops and technology strategy sessions.
• Strong understanding of APAC enterprise priorities including Zero Trust, cloud modernization, and AI infrastructure.
• Experience with modern application architecture patterns such as microservices, APIs, and edge compute.
• Proven ability to mentor peers and build architectural frameworks at scale.
• Must be based in Sydney, Australia or able to work from the local hub.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with TOGAF, NIST SP 800-207, or ISO 27001.
• Experience in regulated industries like FSI, Government, or Telco.
• Prior experience navigating cultural and linguistic diversity across APAC markets.
