Regulatory Counsel (Fintech): Providing expert legal and regulatory advice for the structuring of financial products with an accent on payments, banking regulations, and European compliance. Location: Must be based in Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, or Spain (Hybrid or Remote options available).

Compensation: €5,800–€6,900 gross monthly (Vilnius/Lithuania) or PLN 19,800–PLN 23,400 gross monthly (Krakow/Poland).

What you will do

• Advise the business on compliance and legal issues regarding the structuring of new and existing financial products.
• Draft customer-facing legal documentation for banking and payment products.
• Manage regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications for product expansion.
• Engage and collaborate directly with European and local regulators.
• Handle significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times.

Requirements

• 3+ years of PQE in a legal role.
• Excellent academic and law firm credentials.
• Experience advising on financial regulations in Europe.
• Fluency in English.
• Proven experience with PSD2 and CRD frameworks.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure with incomplete information.
