What you will do

• Lead the security operations program, covering threat detection, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.
• Develop and execute the security strategy, roadmap, and operational processes to balance agility with risk management.
• Own security monitoring, incident response, and post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to embed security best practices across cloud environments.
• Lead compliance initiatives, including SOC 2, and support customer security requirements.
• Manage the security team, vendors, tooling, and budget while communicating risks to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations, including leadership experience.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience building and operating security programs in cloud-first environments, preferably AWS.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management, SIEM, EDR, and incident response.
• Experience supporting compliance programs such as SOC 2 or SOX.
• Proven ability to communicate technical risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code, security automation, or AI security.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC.
• Experience in SaaS, AdTech, or MarTech industries.
