What you will do

• Design and develop high-quality, modular code for APIs, data storage, and third-party service integrations.
• Prototype, validate, and scale new AI-driven solutions within the Scout team.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including UX, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing to shape technical solutions.
• Provide constructive code reviews and design feedback to peers.
• Improve software deployment, testing, logging, and monitoring practices.
• Mentor new team members and contribute to team onboarding.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java or Golang.
• Proven experience in large-scale web architecture and system design.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and algorithms.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
