TL;DR

Salary: $119,161–$170,230 per year

What you will do
- Architect and implement complex full-stack product features designed for long-term scalability.
- Execute a modernization roadmap by decoupling legacy monolithic code into modern architectural patterns.
- Lead the adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code.
- Maintain high codebase quality and security, ensuring zero deferred technical debt.
- Provide rigorous code reviews and accurate technical scoping to drive sprint predictability.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting to optimize platform performance and ensure 99.98% uptime.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in PHP, object-oriented programming, and modern design patterns.
- Strong front-end engineering capabilities with Vue.js, Angular, or React.
- Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and building reusable service patterns.
- Advanced database engineering skills with MySQL, including SQL optimization.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and unit/integration testing frameworks.
- Must be U.S.-based to be eligible for the specified salary and benefits.
Nice to have
- Experience defining cloud architecture strategy across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proven ability to champion new methodologies and engineering best practices across an organization.
