What you will do

• Define channel strategy and formats to reach growth milestones for Owner and the CEO's startup brand channels.
• Manage a creative team including editors, thumbnail designers, and videographers.
• Lead A/B testing for packaging (titles and thumbnails) across the content library.
• Track and present key YouTube metrics such as retention, view velocity, and subscriber growth to leadership.
• Oversee the full production cycle from drafting run-of-show documents to final frame reviews and uploads.
• Coordinate the upload calendar with marketing, shorts teams, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco, California (On-site)
• 3+ years of experience in YouTube channel management or development.
• Deep understanding of YouTube algorithms, ideation, formats, and retention editing.
• Proven experience managing creative teams and production workflows.
• Strong analytical instincts and ability to drive content decisions using data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for distilling complex ideas into engaging content.
