TL;DR

Service Desk Technician (IT Support): Providing Tier 1 technical support for internal associates with an accent on troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues via phone, chat, and ITSM systems. Location: Must live within a 70-mile radius of Lenexa, KS; Allen, TX; Charlotte, NC; Cedar Falls, IA; Louisville, KY; Birmingham, AL; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.

Salary: $34,400–$45,000

What you will do

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and chat.
  • Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and network failures.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and preventative maintenance of systems.
  • Document cases thoroughly to ensure information continuity.
  • Escalate complex issues beyond Tier 1 scope to appropriate teams.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 18 months of experience in a technical support environment.
  • Must reside within a 70-mile radius of specified office locations.
  • Must be available for on-call duties, including holidays and weekends.
  • Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication abilities.
