What you will do
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues for end users via phone, email, and in-person support.
- Document and track all technical problems using the DHA approved ticketing system.
- Install, maintain, and secure clinical workstations and medical application software.
- Perform physical installation and configuration of routers, switches, and peripheral devices.
- Assist Tier III teams with software updates, security patches, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Provide on-call support and interface with base communications squadron personnel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Security+ Certification required.
- Minimum one year of experience as a Help Desk Specialist.
- Must possess or be able to obtain Tier 3 Background Investigation / IAT Level 1 ADP/IT III clearance.
- Must be able to work onsite at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
