What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrations with major travel agencies like Airbnb, Booking.com, and VRBO.
• Ship new core platform features from concept to production and iterate based on customer feedback.
• Improve platform stability, downtime resilience, and observability of the monolithic codebase.
• Refactor core platform and connectivity code to enhance maintainability and testability.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to solve complex operational problems.
• Optimize performance and resource usage to support high-volume data ingestion.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend technologies.
• Significant experience with Laravel, PHP 7+, and MySQL is non-negotiable.
• Experience with testing pipelines in a production environment.
• Exceptional written communication skills for a fully distributed, remote-first environment.
• Ability to think through non-obvious usage scenarios and complex system ripple effects.
• Self-motivated mindset capable of making decisions under uncertainty.

Nice to have

• Experience with queue/job-centric backends.
• Experience building production systems with critical third-party API data ingestion.
