What you will do

  • Own strategic relationships with a diverse portfolio of vendors, focusing on credit bureaus and data providers.
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewals to ensure optimal commercial terms and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess vendor performance, roadmap alignment, and innovation opportunities.
  • Partner with engineering, risk, and product teams to manage API integrations and data requirements.
  • Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and quality metrics to ensure data reliability.
  • Build business cases for new data sources and products to enhance credit decisioning capabilities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in vendor management, strategic partnerships, or procurement within financial services.
  • Deep understanding of credit data products, bureau outputs, and risk decisioning.
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in contract negotiation and cost management.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with risk, product, engineering, finance, and legal teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior internal and external partners.
  • Analytical mindset capable of assessing vendor performance and ROI.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech or consumer lending businesses.
  • Technical understanding of API integrations and data flow.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships across multiple geographies (UK/US).
  • Track record of driving vendor innovation and product enhancements.
