What you will do

• Build and maintain a secure, scalable payments infrastructure with intelligent transaction routing.
• Develop high-volume APIs and manage complex third-party integrations.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and caching strategies.
• Implement clean adapter patterns and define microservice boundaries to ensure maintainability.
• Ensure system stability through rigorous unit, integration, and E2E testing.
• Monitor and debug production issues using observability tools and provide on-call support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend experience shipping production-grade systems.
• Deep mastery of Node.js and TypeScript, including async patterns and event-driven architecture.
• Practical experience with distributed systems, microservices, and idempotency.
• Strong competence in PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher required for structured communication across distributed teams.
• Location: Must be able to work remotely from anywhere or from offices in Kyiv, Lviv, or Warsaw.

• Experience with AWS or general cloud infrastructure solutions.
