TL;DR

Location: Remote (Brazil). Availability to work and collaborate with teams operating in the Eastern Time Zone (ET) is required.

What you will do

• Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of EMS systems and Graph products.
• Develop scalable software solutions for real-time and batch data workloads at petabyte scale.
• Build and maintain data ingestion engines and ETL pipelines for scalable data consumption.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to deliver high-quality services.
• Promote engineering excellence through meaningful code reviews and mentoring of peers.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems and ensure service availability.

Requirements

• Professional software engineering experience with consistent hands-on coding.
• Proficiency in Scala, Java, or Python.
• Experience with high-scale distributed systems and data engineering (ETL).
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to collaborate with teams operating in the Eastern Time Zone.
• Commitment to building secure, privacy-first, and high-quality software.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP or AWS cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Scala ecosystem tools: sbt, Cats, http4s, and FS2.
• Experience with Airflow and Kubernetes for workflow orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Beam, Spark, Google Dataflow, or BigQuery.
• Exposure to machine learning-driven products or data-intensive applications.
