What you will do

• Design and build scalable, reliable data pipelines that power key business decisions.
• Shape the cloud-based data platform to improve performance, cost, and usability.
• Take ownership of data solutions from initial idea through to production and maintenance.
• Drive improvements in how data products are built, deployed, and monitored.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, reusable patterns, and best practices.
• Coach and mentor other engineers to help them grow and succeed.

Requirements

• Strong experience designing and delivering production-grade data solutions.
• Confidence working with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Solid coding skills in Python, SQL, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms, data lakes, or warehouses.
• Understanding of modern data concepts like Lakehouse, ingestion, and analytics.
• Must pass Right to Work checks for the United Kingdom.
