Location: Hybrid (London, 2 days a week on site)

Salary: £80,000 - £120,000

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Develop robust data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications.
• Contribute to architectural decisions across infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and clinicians to deliver new features.
• Coach and mentor engineers with pathways into squad leadership.

Requirements

• Strong backend development experience using Python.
• Experience building and deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience developing data ingestion or ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience working with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda or equivalent).

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js.
• Previous experience in HealthTech, MedTech, or data-intensive environments.
