What you will do
- Source, qualify, and manage global contract manufacturers for Fuse-designed hardware.
- Own landed costs across BOM, component cost, tooling, NRE, and logistics.
- Secure supply and build resilience regarding lead times, capacity, and dual-sourcing.
- Collaborate with engineering on manufacturing standards, certifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Negotiate and manage manufacturing agreements, focusing on IP protection, payment, and warranty terms.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams through design-for-manufacture (DFM) and production ramp.
Requirements
- Procurement, supply-chain, or sourcing experience in hardware, electronics, or manufactured physical products.
- Hands-on experience managing contract manufacturers globally.
- Strong grasp of BOM cost, tooling, NRE, and landed cost mechanics.
- Comfortable working alongside product and engineering teams through DFM.
- Must be based in London, United Kingdom.
Nice to have
- Experience in consumer electronics, automotive, energy hardware, or power-electronics.
- Knowledge of EV charger, battery, inverter, or solar product supply chains.
- Familiarity with international logistics, customs, and IP protection in manufacturing contracts.
