What you will do
- Structure, negotiate, and execute non-project debt, including RCFs, working-capital, and growth debt.
- Manage trading financing, focusing on liquidity, margin, and collateral facilities for power-trading operations.
- Lead financings end-to-end, from sizing and structuring through diligence to documentation and close.
- Build and maintain complex financial models for capital structure, covenants, scenarios, and returns.
- Manage lender and counterparty relationships, ensuring covenant compliance and handling reporting.
- Partner with leadership to determine capital strategy as the business scales.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in leveraged finance, restructuring, or M&A at a leading bank, advisory boutique, or fund.
- Strong execution record on live financing or M&A transactions, ideally with structured debt exposure.
- Excellent financial modelling and structuring skills.
- Ability to direct advisors, lenders, and counsel under time pressure.
- Strong quantitative or STEM background.
- Must be based in or able to work from London, UK.
Nice to have
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, commodities, or power-trading sectors.
- Familiarity with collateral, margin, and ISDA/CSA mechanics.
- Exposure to growth fundraising, receivables, or inventory financing.
