TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Sofia, Bulgaria)

What you will do

  • Perform technical analysis and documentation of complex data flows and system architectures in a payments processing environment.
  • Create and maintain data mappings between source and target systems within distributed Big Data environments.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines using Spark-Scala and SQL on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Model and implement Dataform transformations and integrate them into existing cloud architectures.
  • Manage and monitor batch processes using automation tools such as UC4.
  • Execute independent testing and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Mapper, ideally within a major bank.
  • Extensive expertise in payments and transaction processing.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed system architectures and Big Data environments (Hadoop).
  • Hands-on experience with Spark-Scala and SQL.
  • Solid knowledge of GCP and Dataform.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

  • Experience with automation tools such as UC4.
  • Basic knowledge of German.
