What you will do

• Monitor and manage vulnerabilities across critical operational systems and remote sites.
• Perform risk assessments using CVSS and develop mitigation strategies.
• Analyze security procedures, including access control, encryption, and database security.
• Identify and classify system anomalies and develop corrective solutions.
• Maintain the Security Risk Register and report critical security situations to management.
• Support secure engineering practices and conduct cybersecurity awareness training for project personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT or Cyber Security.
• Proficiency in Linux (Debian, Ubuntu) and Python programming.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox) and scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of CVSS and cryptographic principles.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Eligibility for German Ü2 security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Django.
• Understanding of SDLC and software security testing techniques (static/dynamic analysis, fuzz testing).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Background in space, critical infrastructure, or highly regulated environments.
