What you will do

• Perform synthesis of lubricants, including reaction optimization, purification, and end-product characterization.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications to document research progress.
• Support routine laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
• Operate independently on most assignments with minimal day-to-day supervision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, materials science, and product development teams.

Requirements

• Master or PhD in Chemistry (Organic/Organometallic preferred) or Degree in Chemistry with 3+ years of technical experience.
• Strong background in the synthesis and characterization of organic or fluorocarbon materials.
• Proven track record of research excellence, demonstrated through publications and patents.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a team player.

Nice to have

• Experience in GPC, HPLC, LC-TOF, FTIR, or ToF-SIMS interpretation.
