What you will do

• Build complex financial models from scratch, including cohort, subscription, and acquisition models.
• Evaluate acquisition targets by analyzing KPIs such as LTV, CAC, retention, and churn.
• Manage end-to-end deal processes, from initial founder meetings to final IC recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, growth, and monetization teams to assess post-acquisition potential.
• Structure investment theses and contribute to Investment Committee presentations.
• Identify risks and form independent views on the value of potential acquisitions.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or buy-side roles.
• Proven hands-on experience with mobile app metrics and the app ecosystem.
• Exceptional financial modeling skills, including DCF, LBO, and subscription-based modeling.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and purchase price mechanics.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with high ownership.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with founders.

Nice to have

• Experience building models specifically for mobile app businesses or subscription cohorts.
• Experience working with debt structures and leverage.
• SaaS-specific experience including MRR, ARR, and net revenue retention analysis.
• Prior experience running end-to-end M&A processes from LOI to close.
• Buy-side experience in PE, growth equity, or venture capital.
