What you will do
- Set technical direction and make architectural decisions that balance immediate speed with long-term scalability.
- Drive complex, cross-functional projects from ambiguity to production.
- Raise engineering standards through code reviews, system design, and mentorship.
- Own the reliability, performance, and security of systems handling enterprise-grade customer data.
- Architect and ship AI-native features, including semantic clustering, theme detection, and agentic workflows.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define development processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building full-stack web applications using TypeScript, React, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language such as C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong background in managing complex software projects, breaking down requirements, and providing accurate estimates.
- Deep understanding of production trade-offs in AI/ML, including latency, cost, and evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate effort vs. impact trade-offs.
