Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to the UK (Oxford, Warwick, or Runcorn). This is a hybrid role requiring regular studio attendance.

What you will do

• Develop and implement animation code for the proprietary Asura engine.
• Maintain and evolve features within animation systems, including content creation tools and runtime systems.
• Collaborate with animators and technical artists to bridge the gap between animation and code.
• Write and test complex classes and features for large-scale projects.
• Diagnose and resolve complex bugs in both familiar and unfamiliar codebases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for animation systems.

Requirements

• Must have permanent right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Strong understanding of real-time animation system architecture.
• High proficiency in C++ with experience in complex system development.
• Experience designing and implementing Finite State Machines.
• Solid knowledge of 3D mathematics and geometry.
• Confidence using IDEs, profiling, and debugging tools.
